Jane Sandover BA (Hons) BArch (Hons) RIBA APMP
Jane originally joined the MSA Council following election to the chair of the MSA chapter; Stockport Tameside and Macclesfield Society of Architects (STMSA) in July 1996.
She continued to represent the STMSA for many years, she latterly became a co-opted member, but is now an elected member of the council, to free up a co-opted space. She is secretary for the STMSA, chair of the MSA social committee and runs the schools section of the MSA design awards. She is also involved in organising architectural related tours for the societies. She has a daughter and son who are training to be business accountants.
Qualified for over 30 years, 12 years in designing housing, both social and private hostels etc, then in the commercial sector, with specialising in pharmaceuticals, laboratories, nuclear, high security (prisons, court buildings, police stations, airports) and complex master planning to maintain functionality and 24/7 operation. Jane has recently established her own business with her son; Blue Opal Solutions Ltd. As consultant architect and property developer, to utilise her excellent organisation skills and extensive experience in design and construction.
